FIVE STAR PROFESSIONAL DISCLOSURE
For more than a decade, our firm has been honored to be recognized as a Five Star Wealth Manager by Five Star Professional, an independent research organization that evaluates wealth managers across the Houston area using objective eligibility and evaluation criteria.
The 2025 award was issued on July 1, 2025, following a research period from October 30, 2024 through May 1, 2025. During that time, 3,571 Houston-area wealth managers were considered, and 195 were selected - representing approximately 5% of candidates.

While a fee is paid for the use of marketing materials associated with the award, wealth managers do not pay a fee to be considered or placed on the list. Candidates complete a self-reported questionnaire and are evaluated based on professional experience, client retention, assets administered, education, and regulatory history. The rating is not based on investment performance or the quality of investment advice provided.

Five Star Professional has recognized our firm consistently over the years. In each award cycle, thousands of local wealth managers are reviewed and only a small percentage are selected. Selection rates have historically ranged from approximately 5% to 7% in recent years, with higher percentages in earlier years as the program expanded.

To be eligible, wealth managers must:
-
Be credentialed as a Registered Investment Adviser (RIA) or representative
-
Be actively licensed for a minimum of five years
-
Maintain a favorable regulatory and complaint history
-
Meet firm review standards
-
Be accepting new clients

As part of the regulatory review, candidates must not have experienced license suspensions or revocations, excessive complaints or settlements, personal bankruptcy within the past 11 years, termination from a financial services firm within the past 11 years, or felony convictions.

Additional evaluation criteria may include one- and five-year client retention rates, assets administered, number of client households served, and professional designations or education.

It is important to note that Five Star Professional does not evaluate the quality of services provided to clients, and this recognition is not indicative of future investment performance. Inclusion on the list should not be construed as an endorsement, and working with any wealth manager does not guarantee investment success.
